Happy New year to all. Its been a busy start to the year so finding time for updating the site has become almost none existent. I have been working none stop in the studio via our site osmusician.com with Gary Cook and Rick Hale and here is a little studio clip I put together OSM Sessions with working on "Fruit of the Branch" with Producer Rick Hale
I should be heading back to Brasil late February to continue with Creative Drum Clinics with Alex Paulista and Marco Feminella and we will all return around the middle of March before we head to Frankfurt for the Music Messe.
November 2010 I return to Europe on the 11th of this month ready for Christmas and studio work for Rick Hale and a number of other clients. We will promoting all the events and clinics for 2011 over the next month so all information will be posted here. Both myself and guitarist Betovani are still working with sponsors for the multi drummer motivational music events, this educational concept using music to instill work ethic into the young is needed now more than ever. Luen Heads - I just received my first delivery of heads from Luen in Brazil www.luen.com.br. I'm using double clear heads on all toms and also on the kick and their medium thin coated snare head. October 2010 23rd - Creative Drum Clinic with my great friends and drummers Alex Paulista and Marcos Feminella followed by Garry King and Friends with my musician friends from Florianopolis Brazil. I also did another TV interview with Channel especial36 for TV Com in Brazil.
September 2010 Two more months in Brasil with Drummer Alex Paulista and Creative Drum Clinics. I am also working on new material with Rick Hale and his clients in the USA and also re mixes and drum tracks with my best buddies Betovani and Sid Montoya in the studio. I will be back in France in November until the New Year. August 2010 Recording news - I am working on a track "Hurricane"for Gary Daniel Cook in the United States and using the new Trion 8000 by CAD in the studio. I just finished a number of drum tracks for Grammy Nominated Producer Rick Hale. "El Fantisma" by Andrea Montano which I played on has been getting a lot of attention and airplay in Miami Betovani arrived back in France this week to work again with me in the studio and on Creative Drum Clinics production I'm also preparing to head back out to Brasil on September the 8th for th big music trade show in Sao Paulo. I will be at the Frankfurt Music Fair from the 24th to the 28th of March meeting with a bunch of good friends and companies. Well that's it for this year, Joe Lynn Turner High Gear Tour has finally come to an end. It was an amazing tour with an amazing band (Andy Robbins, Bets Peres, Sid Montoya and Marssal) Janine, crew and truly amazing fans and now many friends. November Date confirmed for the first Creative "MIC" Clinics European Tour in Marseille France with Drummer and educator Rob Hirrons ------------------------------------------------------------------------ August Here is a new online short video press video in WMV format including some recent live clinic footage with Rick Hale in New Mexico USA . My recent announcement regarding endorsing Gretsch Drums has already taken a change, due to miscommunication from the distributor in the UK. I will post any updates from here onwards but have some other options I'm looking at presently. Ive been busy working in my new studio getting all the building work finished. Andy Robbins is presently in Brazil and will be visiting soon to work on business and we will be at the Frankfurt Music Fair next April. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ June 26th I would like to announce I will be endorsing Gretsch Drums and Attack Heads from now on. I look forward to receiving my first new kit in a few months back in Europe which ill post here as soon as I get some pictures. I head to Mexico City and Acapulco this week Another great trip to New Mexico and Phoenix this month. I got to work with Andy Robbins on the Garnoe project in Phoenix and recorded some drum cuts for artist Jamie Bird at Rick Hale Production Studio. We also did our clinic at Lesmens Pro Audio which as usual was great. Rick Hale (Keys), Marty F Simmons (sax) Rick's five year old son David also wowed everyone with a special guest appearance on keys.

------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got back from a great trip to New Mexico USA. I have been cutting drum tracks with my good buddy Producer Rick Hale and guitarist, writer, performer Jamie Bird Yellowhorse. Ill be putting a link to his new in studio video on here soon. I had the first chance to mic the kit with some of the amazing Cad mics for the first time that Rick is endorsing in the studio.
I also hooked up with Garnoe Productions guitarist Andres "Sid" Montoya and we worked on some other client material at the same time which is always cool as well as arranging material for an up and coming tour for a major artist, I hope to have some of that audio here soon as well.
April I have a new experimental project with Andres (Sid) Montoya which blends loops, dance grooves and sounds with Rock and Spanish style guitars and drums. We play our first show in Mexico on the 15th May which will be a blast. Its different, and allows us to play interesting riffs and beats around danceable music. I hope to have video of the show on the site after the date and some audio clips.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm pleased to add a new endorsement to my great list. Anyone who hasn't laid their hands or should I say "feet" on the amazing HANZENFUTS pedals should do so if you are serious about practice anywhere at anytime. So far this year things have been busy already. I've been to New York, Germany and Mexico. This year we have put together Garnoe Production and Media Its a resource for artists and companies looking for reliable in house personnel for tours and events from musicians to sound and light to online media and marketing. There are a number of great projects on the cards this year including working with some great musicians and friends again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- October Well its been a great summer and I've taken some time out to work on the house and the studio here in France. I have some exciting projects coming for the new year which I'm keeping under my hat for the time being. Needless to say we will be out on the road very soon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- May 26 Today watched on tv a very shocking show about the mess that Hawaii is having to deal with thanks to the world of plastic. Please "Reduce Reuse Recycle" a song by Jack Johnson also on the show. Dump you crap responsibly please please please. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- May 22 Another number of great trips during the last month or so to the UK and Germany. June 21st ill be doing a session here in France in my town of Beaulieu for the Fete De La Musique which is a big event held all over the country. It should be a fun evening with lots going on so check out the site and see for yourself. Ill be playing to a number of backing tracks I have been working on as well as tracks written and produced by Rick Hale back in the USA.

It seems that bad news and sadness is what people want to hear these days and nothing else (just watch the news) The more difficult it can be made the better it must be, We say "NOT". We will continue to push the MIC message out with everything we do, and hope that at some stage we will be back to carry on. Until things change with the media, school boards, so called education councils and specialists its always going to be the kids that miss out due to the politics of suits and ties and "cant do this cant do that". ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feb 07 Well once again time is ticking by and the new year has kicked into gear.
